These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Stokes Appliance Parts ABN: 25 663 547 655 (referred to as "Stokes" from here on in) website. By visiting the Stokes website ( you accept, and agree to, the content of these Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to change the Terms & Conditions at any time without notice and it is your responsibility to check regularly before ordering.

Terms of Contract

When you place an order through our website, we will treat that action as an offer to buy. Once the order is placed you will receive an e-mail confirmation and at this time we enter into a contract with you.

Product Specifications, Suitability & Warranty

All care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of published product details, specifications and suitability information however Stokes cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions.

Stokes will not be held responsible for the accuracy of any advice given regarding the suitability (or otherwise) of any part(s) required for the repair of an appliance. If you have ordered a product that you deem to be unsuitable, we will remedy this by providing you a suitable replacement product or a refund upon the return of the product. Returns of this nature must be in a resellable condition to be accepted.

Manufacturer names are used for reference only. Products listed as genuine are original parts from the manufacturer and products listed as generic, universal, equal, equivalent or replacement are compatible alternatives.

All parts should be installed by a competent person in accordance with manufacturer specifications and warranty conditions. Manufacturer guarantees may be on condition that you use a qualified technician. Stokes cannot be held liable for any damage and or additional costs caused by fitting a part.

All electrical, mechanical and heavy parts must be installed by appropriately qualified service people. Stokes cannot be held liable for any damage and or additional costs caused by fitting a part.

New parts used in domestic applications are covered by a limited parts only replacement warranty of up to 12 months from the original invoice date. Where a limited warranty is provided by a manufacturer. Eg LG, Samsung and many others, we will match the manufacturers warranty only. This may not always be stated in the parts description, contact us to confirm prior to ordering. Reconditioned parts used in domestic applications are covered by a limited parts only replacement warranty of 1 month from the original invoice date. New parts used in commercial or industrial applications are covered by a limited parts only replacement warranty of up to 3 months from the original invoice date. Reconditioned parts used in commercial or industrial applications are not covered by any warranty.

Electrical components such PCB and control boards are not warranted. Due to the sensitve nature of electronic components and potential to be damaged by static electricity or the result of a fault in another component. Please note that all PCB and control boards, will not be accepted for credit under any circumstances, regardless of whether they have been fitted or not. We recommend that a qualified and experienced service technician inspects the appliance prior to purchasing and fitting of any electrical components.

The warranty period commences on the date of the original/initial invoice and is strictly limited (at our sole discretion) to a replacement or refund. To claim warranty please contact our Customer Service Department by phone or e-mail and clearly state the reason for your claim. We will assess the validity of your claim and respond within 5 business days.

Stokes cannot be held liable for any loss of warranty, damage caused, labour costs, time delays or any other expenses associated with the supply or installation of any products/parts we sell.

In the event of a rejected faulty claim, any costs incurred such as testing the item may have additional costs passed on or deducted from the claim. This will be conveyed prior to a GRA being issued.

Availability & Estimated Delivery Times

We do our best to ensure availability of all advertised products and to dispatch all orders within the quoted time. If you have ordered multiple products they may arrive separately.

Occasionally we find ourselves having to withdraw products as they have become obsolete or been discontinued. If you have placed an order for a product which is obsolete or discontinued, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative if one is available. If no alternative is available, we will refund the money you have paid to us for the particular product.

Products listed on the website as "On Backorder" or "Order on request" may not always be on order or available, in some cases these parts are special order and cannot be cancelled once requested from our suppliers. To find out if an item is a special order or the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for items not listed in stock please contact our Victorian office.

Online payment can be made via our secure check out pages using Visa or MasterCard. Charges will appear on your statement as "Stokes Appliance Parts".

Alternatively you can pay by bank deposit.

If payment is made by bank deposit your order will not be dispatched until the funds appear in our account, there may be delays processing these payment options.

All product prices are quoted in Australian Dollars ($) and will specify if they include or exclude Goods and Services Tax (GST) at Australian rates.

Due to the nature of our funds clearing system your credit card payment will be taken at the point of check out. Cancellations or refunds, where applicable can be handled by our Victorian Office.

We do not dispatch orders outside of Australia.


All online orders are despatched from our Sydney warehouse.

Orders placed before midday (Sydney time) are typically despatched same day if you have paid by credit card or have an account. Orders received after this time may not be despatched until the following working day.

Orders are despatched using our preferred carriers only.

For expedited services such as air freight please contact us for pricing and service availability. Generally, this service is available for metropolitan and surrounding areas.

Please contact us for deliveries outside of Australia.

All deliveries arranged by the customer are the liability of the customer.


Products which are in stock may be cancelled at any time before they are dispatched. If the product has already been dispatched then please see below for our returns policy.

Orders for items not in stock cannot be cancelled once requested from our supplier.

Orders cannot be cancelled if they have been specially ordered or custom made.


All requests to return product(s) must be within 7 days of the invoice date. Please notify us by e-mail ( of your intention to return your product(s) within this time and we will advise whether it can be returned.

Due to the volume of orders and stock we handle, only returns with Goods Return Authority (GRA) will be accepted for credit. Restocking fees may apply and will be advised at the time of issuing the GRA.

Any returns other than defective goods must be returned in their original packaging, unopened, with no labels, stickers or writing on the product box.

"Special order" items cannot be cancelled or returned.

Please note that some of our suppliers do not accept returns, please contact us prior to ordering to confirm if a part is non-returnable.

We do not offer change of mind returns, if you are not sure of the part you require, please contact us for assistance first.


We will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third parties’ claims.

We do our best to get all orders dispatched as quickly as possible. We have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered.

We respect and appreciate your privacy. We will never sell or lend your details to any other organisation without your consent. Your details are confidential and you will never receive unsolicited mail as a result of ordering from Stokes. Any information requested from you, is so that we may better serve you.

We expect you to maintain the confidentiality of your username and password for your Stokes online account.
